4th Annual Youth Summer Camp!
Offering our 4th Annual Youth Summer Camp. This is an 8-week program spanning from June 3rd – July 26th.
Activities will include art projects, field trips, cultural awareness activities, and water days! Each day, the activities will be tied to our weekly behavioral theme.
Camp Elite’s Mission
This program is designed to help all campers appreciate their natural surroundings and help them develop the life skills needed to be successful individuals. The campers will learn skills such as, but not limited to, social/emotional skills, anger management, positive self-esteem/ advocacy, resilience, communication, life skills/daily living skills, positive peer relationships, and coping skills. The program will provide real-life situations for the campers and help them set SMART Goals, challenge themselves, and be socially and culturally aware. The campers, most importantly, will work inwards and discover their skills and abilities alongside trained Behavioral Health Technicians and Licensed Therapists.
DAILY ACTIVITIES

Monday
Art Day / Physical Development / Cooking & Baking Day
A camp leader will host therapeutic art activities linked to the week’s behavioral health theme every Monday, featuring diverse cultural arts such as painting, sculpture, and crafts. In cooking and nutrition classes, campers will learn to prepare simple, healthy meals from various cultures, including Mexican tacos, Italian pizzas, and Chinese stir-fries, focusing on food groups, essential nutrition, understanding chemical reactions and measurements, and following detailed instructions. Following the cooking class, a physical trainer will promote an active lifestyle, focusing on stretching, muscle education, speed, agility, and overall camper well-being.

Tuesday
Water & Science Day
Campers will delight in water activities at local pools, lakes, and rivers, always under the watchful eye of our camp staff. Meanwhile, our Mini Camper Scientists will engage in simple experiments and sensory activities, introducing basic scientific concepts such as color mixing, buoyancy, and magnetism. These fun and interactive activities are designed to spark curiosity and cater to their developmental needs, making learning an exciting adventure.

Wednesday
Field Trips / Book Club
Campers will participate in educational field trips with an engaging book club, offering campers a tactile and immersive learning experience. Stories come to life through interactive storytelling with props, costumes, and puppetry, sparking creativity and imagination. Discussions encourage critical thinking as campers analyze themes and characters, enriching their cultural understanding and broadening their horizons. This dynamic approach deepens learning and promotes personal growth.

Thursday
Cultural Awareness Activities / Gardening / Music & Movement
Campers will engage in diverse activities to deepen their cultural understanding and interpersonal skills, fostering appreciation for their own and other cultures. Through hands-on gardening, they’ll learn responsibility and empathy as they care for plants while exploring botany and biology to enhance their scientific and observational skills as they monitor the growth and health of the plants. Campers will develop motor skills and coordination in our Music and Movement sessions. Campers will enhance their motor skills and coordination by learning rhythm, melody, and basic dance moves through interactive music sessions and creative movement activities. Learning to play instruments will further refine their coordination, timing, and fine motor skills, rounding out a rich, educational summer experience.

Friday
Water & Science Day
Under the careful supervision of our skilled staff, campers will participate in various water activities in local pools, lakes, and rivers, with a strong emphasis on safety. In addition to aquatic fun, campers will dive into hands-on and sensory science activities that engage them physically with materials and concepts. These experiences encourage curiosity as kids and teens learn to ask questions, explore different answers, and understand how things work. They will sharpen their analytical skills through experiments and problem-solving by observing, hypothesizing, experimenting, and drawing conclusions—essential for scientific learning and daily decision-making. Collaborative science projects enhance teamwork abilities and social skills and boost confidence, empowering campers to tackle new challenges and complex concepts.
